You can find the camera IP address or set fixed IP address to the camera via HiKam PC.


Run HiKam PC and Login.


On the left side, see the 'Device List', make sure the camera you would like to check/configure is already there.

Right Click on the camera, click 'Remote Setup' in the menu.


In the pop up window, you will see the 'Network'.  The IP address info is in it.

If you don't see the window, instead you see a warning message about 'set the password of camera', please check the troubleshooting info below.

You can set the fixed IP by selecting 'Use the following IP adress', and input your target fixed IP there. Then click 'Set'.

Please make sure the fixed IP you put is workable and not conflicts with other devices.

Troubleshooting:


#Prompts 'enter camera password'

If you see the error message 'Please enter the camera password' or below, you need to enter the password of the camera on the HiKam PC.



Resolution: enter the password of the camera, here is how,

#1 Right Click on the camera on the left device list, click 'Device property'.


In the pop up window, enter the password there and click OK.


Now you can try the 'Remote Setup' of the camera again.

#No information in the 'Remote Setup' window

If you see no valid information in 'Remote Setup', and it continue to ask for camera password, as below. It is caused by the camera password provided is not correct. 

Resolution: change the password of the camera to correct one, here is how, 

#1 Right Click on the camera on the left device list, click 'Device property'.


In the pop up window, enter the password there and click OK.


Now you can try the 'Remote Setup' of the camera again.
