2. How to power on the camera.
The A7 camera has an integrated, dangling cable that has three ends, namely, the LAN cable end, the Power end, and the Reset end. For identifying these three ends, refer to the "Interface and mounting instruction" in the box.
To power on the camera, connect the included power cord to the Power end of the dangling cable. The Green LED indicator at the LAN cable end signifies power on.
3. 433 antenna connection
The 433 antenna is used to receive alarm signals from external sensors (such as HiKam door lock and PIR) on the 433MHz frequency radio. If you want to pair HiKam external sensors with the camera, the 433 antenna needs to be threaded to the corresponding labelled connector at the back end of the camera. With no external sensors to pair, the 433 antenna can be left in the box.
The HiKam external sensors can be shopped at Amazon. Search the keyword "ip camera hikam" (case insensitive) to find.
See the "Alarm Settings" for pairing the external sensor with the camera.
4. Wi-Fi antenna connection
The Wi-Fi antenna extends the range of 802.11 system with omnidirectional qualities. It is unnecessary only when the camera connects with the router with an Ethernet cable. To leverage the WLAN/Wi-Fi this antenna needs to be threaded to the corresponding labelled connector at the back end of the camera.
